The 2025 CX-5 comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. This duo serves up 227 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. With standard all-wheel drive, the CX-5 can take on muddy or slippery trails without getting stuck. Fuel economy is 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
The CX-5’s Turbo models bring more power to the lineup, with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that pumps out up to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The turbo-four comes with a six-speed auto and all-wheel drive. It is rated for 22 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. The available Mi-Drive technology lets you toggle between Normal, Sport, and Off-Road drive modes as needed.

The CX-5 comes with an upscale interior with ample seating for five. Cloth-trimmed seats come standard, as is a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
